Freight car wheels at crossing in Calera, Alabama (editor's title)

Wheels on the cars of a CSX grain train passing over the crossing with a Norfolk Southern line in Calera, Alabama, on March 28, 2009. Muddy water splashes up as the wheels depress the tracks, evidence of the difficulty in creating proper drainage where two railroads cross.
