Empire Builder Leaving Minneapolis Station (editor's title)

Burlington Northern passenger train, the Empire Builder
The Empire Builder is departing the Great Northern depot in Minneapolis, going westerly taking a left on the wye and connection tracks and is now headed west out of Minneapolis. Looking straight up the double track a westbound BN (GN) freight waits to depart after the passenger train departs. In front of the freight there is a switch to the right with a wye track going behind the depot power plant and to the GN depot. The bridge by the freight is over the Mississippi. The black building would be the depot power plant in the middle of that wye. The various tracks going from right to left across the picture and crossing the BN mainline, are going to various yards, the NP passenger mainline, the Omaha roundhouse. Amtrak's Empire Builder serves the Twin Cities, but not this location.
