Rebuilt GP7s

WM GP7s #20 and #23
Exterior, three-quarters “roster” view of Western Maryland diesel locomotives #20 and #23 in Hagerstown, Maryland on October 22, 1973. The locomotives are both EMD GP7s, rebuilt by WM with low, short hoods for improved visibility. Note the worker riding the steps of #20, who is most likely a brakeman about to couple the locomotives onto a waiting train.
