Denver & Rio Grande steam locomotive no. 273 in roundhouse
Denver & Rio Grande 36-in. gauge steam locomotive no. 273 in a roundhouse in Colorado. The locomotive is of the "60-class" 2-8-0s built by Baldwin in 1882. All of the road's 60-class locomotives were re-classified to C-16 in 1924. The no. 273 was scrapped in 1926, along with several sisters, although two members of this class operated into the 1950s (nos. 268 and 278).
