Cardinal's Train
Builder's photo showing the newly-prepared "Cardinal's Train" at the Pullman Factory in Chicago. The special seven-car train, painted bright red, operated over the New York Central from New York to Chicago bringing Catholic Cardinals from around the world and their party to the XXVIII International Eucharistic Congress, held in Chicago from June 20-24, 1926. This photo appears on p. 382-383 of Some Classic Trains by Arthur Dubin (Kalmbach, 1964).
